Uncanny, the similarities! You’re right, Rishad, trends are trends (in statistics, not in fashion!) because they don’t or shouldn’t change fast.

Trust being an issue may not really be an issue. Consumers, citizens, society MUST question and doubt the people who “serve” them. It prevents complacency and blind faith, which have both been (and continue to be) disastrous for society.

Instead, companies and country leaders need to “deal with it”. By accepting that this is not going to go away but also by being more and more authentic and transparent to respond to that challenge
