Totally agree, and more. The marketing as a broadcast action has ended. Now dialog and conversation rules the credibility and the preference for new consumers, and way beyond the disruption and the naif promises that overcome the product/ service offer. Emotional engagement are still in the top of the attribute to attract a deal, but as long as the companies keep coherence and truth worth.
