Insightful and value adding, thanks for sharing. I was having a discussion with my colleague that as I don’t have people reporting to me then I can’t be leader but reading what you mentioned that would be more a boss & a leader doesnt need people to report to him. Thanks 😇🙌

Thank you & your remarks are spot on. However, as long as there are hierarchies and competition in organizations, leaders need to effectively maneuver the political landscape to ensure they and their teams get rewarded for their work. This could often preoccupy leaders to the extent they tend to use people more than inspire and help them.
