I find the term "AI replacing jobs" a gross simplification. It will replace tasks and we will need to reconstruct jobs around the tasks AI will do for us. This is the same when the ATM arrived, cashiers went from the dominant task of counting and cashing cheques, to better understanding how the bank can help them cash more cheques and make more money. The job of the cashier was not replaced, the lower level task was by automation.
Ravin Jesuthasan & John Boudreau wrote an accessible book called "Reinventing Jobs" back in 2018 about this reconstruction of tasks, roles, teams and processes around automation.
